Potgieter Louw Attorneys handles every matter with a customised approach. Since not every legal matter that comes across our table is the same, we try to explain to clients the exact process we will follow to attend to their matter in order to resolve it as best we can.

  2. Divorce Law – Opposed and Unopposed Divorces and matters relating thereto such as spousal maintenance;
  3. Child Law – Child Maintenance, Custody, Criminal Acts relating to minors and any other matter regarding Children;
  4. Civil Litigation – Contract Law, Debt Collection and any matter regarding claiming an amount of money;
  5. Family Law – Parenting Plans, Domestic Violence and Co-habitation disputes or agreements;
  6. Notary Public Services – Notarial authentication and certification, apostilles, ante-nuptial contracts;

We prefer a face-to-face approach with our clients. Not only will it set you at ease about our existence and who we are, but we can also advise you in a more complete way. If you are unable to attend our office for a formal consultation, we can also accommodate our clients with a Zoom or Microsoft Teams consultation.

Our Business Hours are as follows:

  1. Monday to Friday: 08:00 to 16:00
  2. Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Closed on public holidays.

Since our time is our service, we do charge for consultations. They are usually charged as a set consultation fee or an hourly fee.

While in consultation with us, we provide you with a Client Profile which must be completed. This client profile has an Annexure setting out all our fees. During the consultation we explain all the fees to you and since not every legal matter is the same some matters would be charged at a higher rate than others.
